This Should End the Debate

Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama released a list today of fifteen men admitted to the USA as refugees who carried out jihadi activities once they got here.  Each of the men underwent the full vetting process that president Obama and his people point to as "robust and extensive".  That's fifteen terrorists who made it past the vetting process.  The list ought to end the debate over the admittance of Syrian refugees who cannot be properly checked out.

Think for a moment what fifteen terrorists could do in the USA.  There were only eight or nine terrorists in Paris, and they killed about 140 people.  If the 15 were put in groups of three in five different cities, they could cause chaos for tens of millions of Americans.

The reality is that we now have concrete proof that the vetting process does not work.  Since ISIS has told us that it will be sending fighters into the USA as part of the flow of refugees, we should take the threat seriously.  It's a great thing to help those in need.  It is, however, a completely idiotic thing to let compassion overcome reason and admit those who have the goal of killing us all.

The senate needs to quickly pass the bill that already made it through the House.
