With all that has been happening with ISIS, it is important not to let a few very important bits of news pass by unnoticed.
Both have to do with Hillary Clinton's main aide, Huma Abedin (who is married to Anthony Weiner). Abedin was important enough to Hillary to get an email account on Clinton's private unsecured server. That meant that until very recently, a big chunk of Huma's emails were not seen by the public because the government had no access to them. Now, they are slowly being released. Here's one in which Huma discusses with another Clinton aide (Hanley) making sure that Hillary is reminded about an upcoming communication with the prime minister of India. These are verbatim from the email:
Abedin: Have you been going over her calls with her? So she knows singh is at 8? [India Prime Minister Manmohan Singh]
Hanley: She was in bed for a nap by the time I heard that she had an 8am call. Will go over with her
Abedin: Very imp to do that. She’s often confused.
Look at that! The two people who spent the most time with Hillary Clinton at the State Department describe her a "often confused" and report that one afternoon she was "taking a nap". Can America afford a president who cannot get through the day without a nap and who is often confused?
The second bit of news about Huma Abedin is that she appears to have violated the law and may be subject to criminal prosecution. When Huma left the employ of the State Department, she signed a form in which she swore, under penalty of perjury, that she had turned over to the State Department all, ALL, of the records that pertain to her work for the government. We know that this is untrue. All of those emails that were on her Clinton email account were not turned over, and Huma knew this when she signed the form. We will have to see if the Justice Department decides to prosecute her or to let her off because of her connections, but it certainly appears that she could easily go to jail if the DOJ moves forward with an indictment. I doubt that Huma would go to prison to protect Hillary Clinton. We may soon hear that she has been flipped by the FBI and that Huma is now a witness against Hillary Clinton.
