I just saw an article written by Paul Begala under the headline "What Is Making the Republicans Crazy". Begala, is usually a walking list of talking points from the Clinton campaign, so I was particularly struck by the language being employed. Republicans are not upset or in turmoil according to the Clintonistas; they are "crazy". When it comes to Republicans, Hillary Clinton proudly identified them as her chief "enemies" recently. In fact, Hillary put Republicans ahead of ISIS, al Qaeda and our nation's other opponents as a bigger "enemy". In the last two days, Clinton has also started making the claim that Bernie Sanders, her Democrat opponent, is both sexist and racist. She's more low key in these attacks than she is when going after the GOP, but her echo chamber people (like Begala) are going full force. Bernie Sanders is now being charged with racism and sexism. I'm not going to respond to the charge that Sanders is racist or sexist; he's not, and anyone who has seen him in action for the last decade well knows that. Similarly, the GOP is not crazy and it is also not properly the biggest enemy that Hillary faces. The point here is not to slap down some inane attacks by Hillary Clinton, but rather to look at the tactics she is using and to see how those tactics provide us with insight into her character.
Think about it. Clinton and her campaign are knowingly making false charges against all potential opponents. What does that tell us? First, it is another confirmation that Hillary is completely dishonest. One cannot believe anything she says. Sadly, we already knew that. Second, however, this is also a confirmation that Clinton holds the American people in very low regard. She thinks that we are such a stupid and uniformed bunch that she can spout lies like this and get away with it. After all, it does her no good to call Sanders sexist or racist unless the average voter accepts those lies. Hillary actually thinks she will be able to get away with these lies. Third, these tactics also tell us that Clinton thinks that she has the media totally in her pocket. These attacks are not coming a few days before an election when there would be little time for the truth to get out. Clinton is attacking Sanders and the GOP with lies three months before the first primary/caucus and a year before the actual election. If Clinton feared that the media might expose her falsehoods to the public, she would not use them at this time. Nope, Hillary thinks that the media are her lapdogs and will never do anything that might harm her.
The truth is that Hillary's lies are just more proof of why she is totally unqualified to be president.
