What Is Our Response?

There's no point repeating the moves made by the Islamic terrorists in the last few weeks; at this point, we all know them.  The question for today, however, is what should be the American response?

We have tried ignoring the problem.  It did not work.  We have tried retreating from the problem.  Obama pulled all troops from Iraq and nearly all from Afghanistan.  It did not work.  We have tried talking to the problem while doing little.  That's the strategy behind Obama's bluster about how Assad must go and ISIS is to be destroyed coupled with a desultory bombing campaign in Syria and Iraq.  It certainly has not worked.  We have tried helping terrorists, just look at the Iranian nuclear deal.  It is technically too soon to say that the strategy failed, but we all know where it is going.  It's a failure.  We tried disrespecting and refusing to help our allies; just ask the Kurds, the Israelis and the Jordanians and Egyptians.  That also has not worked.

Here's a news flash.  Here's a strategy that Obama and the Obamacrats have yet to try.  How about if the USA were to fight our enemies.  How about if we were to lead the forces of a robust coalition of western and other countries against ISIS?  We could assemble a force large and strong enough to wipe ISIS from the face of the earth, and it wouldn't actually take that long.  Is there any chance that Obama will adopt this strategy?  Sadly, the answer is no.  America is left with an incoherent president who has no idea how to lead.
