The leader of ISIS, al-Baghdadi, released a taped message yesterday which makes me wonder if he has the same speechwriters as president Obama. In the message, the ISIS leader denounced Saudi Arabia for, among other things, the creation of a 34 nation coalition of Islamic states that will fight terrorism (including ISIS). He threatened attacks on Saudi interests. What caught my attention in the message, however, was that al-Baghdadi said that the new coalition has been falsely called "Islamic". It was just like when Obama announced that ISIS itself was not Islamic. Indeed, all that was missing was for al-Baghdadi to announce that Islam is a religion of peace and therefore a coalition to wage war on terrorism could not possibly be Islamic.
