According to The Hill (which is usually supportive of president Obama), ISIS is actively trying to get its people in the USA through the Syrian refugee process. Here's the key part of the report:
Intelligence officials have determined that Islamic extremists have explored using the refugee program to enter the United States, the head of the House Homeland Security Committee said on Monday.
Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas) declined to go into detail about the determination, which the Obama administration has not announced publicly.
McCaul also made clear that he got this information from someone who may have gone around the chain of command to let Congress know the truth.
In its typical fashion, The Hill says that this new information "may" present problems for Obama's plan to bring tens of thousands of Syrian refugees into America. May??? Are they kidding??? The intelligence agencies have confirmation that ISIS really is trying to sneak operatives into the USA disguised as refugees and that only "may" cause a problem with the plan to allow that entry?
If the USA is ever defeated, it would be sad indeed if our downfall was the result of idiotic politically correct nonsense. Allowing terrorists into the USA in the name of compassion is neither smart nor compassionate. Just once, I would like to see some realism coming from the White House. I guess I have to wait until 2017 for that to ever happen.
