What's The Difference?

Here's a question to ponder:  Do you think that the United States ought to bar entry to Moslem immigrants and work to force all those who are already here to leave the country?  In other words, should America become a "Moslem - free zone"?

It's not a difficult question; nor is it one on which there is much disagreement.  Very few Americans think that Moslems should be barred from immigrating here or deported so long as proper care is taken to vet new arrivals so as to keep out terrorists.

So here's another question to ponder:  Do you think that the United States should support efforts to bar entry to Jewish immigrants in the West Bank area of what was Palestine and to force all those who are already there to leave?  Strangely, despite the strong views about America admitting Moslems, president Obama and his administration feel equally strongly that the West Bank should become a "Jew - free zone".  Indeed, this view with regard to emptying the West Bank of Jews is held not just by Obama and the Obamacrats but by much of the liberal mainstream media.  The fact that most of the Jews living in this area actually live in neighborhoods of Jerusalem, Israel's capital does not seem to make a difference to these ideologues.

And the anti-Israel bias in the media does not even stop there.  Just this morning, I read an AP story that talks about the many terrorists who have been shot in the midst of attacks on innocent civilians in Israel.  The AP, however, didn't call them terrorists; instead, they were relabeled as people "who Israel claims" engaged in terrorism.  Are they kidding?  Many of these people are on video brandishing weapons and attacking civilians, but to the AP it is just some "Israeli claim"?  A little later, I read an article about how US charities are undermining the US government position by helping to build housing for "settlers" in the West Bank.  The story then goes on to describe funding received for construction of some apartment buildings in Jerusalem.  I checked; the building pictured in the article is located about seven blocks from the Israeli Parliament building.  That's a "settlement"?  Really?

The level of bias in both the Obama administration and the media is sometimes just hard to take.
