Some Important Events In The Terror Fight

Did you hear of any of these events?

1.  A mosque near Detroit was fire-bombed and burnt to the ground.  No one was hurt.
2.  An Islamic community center in northern New Jersey was hit by gun fired that came from a passing car.
3.  An explosive device was found at an Islamic religious school in southern California but it was disarmed by police before any explosion.
4.  Two men with beards and dressed in the typical clothing of Moslem imams were attacked on the New York City subway two nights ago by a group of men shouting anti-Moslem slurs.

You probably did not hear of these events, because THEY DID NOT HAPPEN.  There were no attacks on Moslem institutions anywhere across the USA.  There are no reported attacks on individual Moslems that have anything to do with the religion of the victim.

The simple truth is that while there is a marked rise of fear of terrorism across the USA, there is no evidence of any anti-Moslem backlash aside from things that a few people say.

That, of course, leads to the question why the most senior people in the White House held a meeting with various Islamic religious and civic leaders yesterday to discuss ways to stop the anti-Moslem backlash following the attack in San Bernardino.  The news reports about the meeting say that the Moslem leaders told "heartbreaking" tales of Moslem girls being called names at school for wearing headscarves.  Does that name calling by other children merit the involvement of the White House?

Just ten days ago, attorney general Loretta Lynch denounced what she called the “incredibly disturbing rise of anti-Muslim rhetoric" and she added "that fear is my greatest fear.”  Lynch also said that the Justice Department would not tolerate anti-Moslem rhetoric and that it would prosecute those who engage in such speech.

Now let's consider how the Obama White House handle the issue of anti-American speech by Moslems.  It was confirmed yesterday that those working to prevent terrorism as well as those who are reviewing the requests for entry to the USA by refugees and potential immigrants are barred from looking at the statements made by the applicants on social media.  The subject came up because the terrorist Malik, one of the San Bernardino killers, stated on Facebook on repeated occasions that she supported ISIS and pledged to be a martyr for Islam.  The government did not even look at these Facebook posts before granting Malik a visa for entry to the USA.  Indeed, the government workers were barred by Obama's policies from looking at those posts.  The rule is that Homeland Security, the FBI and others are only allowed to look at conduct but not speech.

Compare the rule for vetting refugees and immigrants to the rule for dealing with the non-existent anti-Moslem backlash.  Statements made in support of ISIS and promises to be a martyr cannot be considered by those trying to keep America safe.  Statements made by Americans which the government considers anti-Moslem rhetoric will give rise to prosecution by the federal government according to the attorney general.  The first is a promise to kill and maim people; the second is something that may insult some people but causes no physical harm.  For some reason, in the delusional world of president Obama, the second is a major problem but the first is something that cannot even be considered.

The USA will never win the war on terror if it continues to follow the delusional policies of Obama and the Obamacrats.
