It makes me sad

I listened to yesterday's interview of New York City Mayor Bloomberg by Katie Couric and it really makes me sad. Bloomberg is an intelligent, logical man who has done reasonably well as mayor. Even so, he revealed that he is a prisoner of his liberal mind set. Bloomberg told Couric that the person responisible for the Time Square bomb was most likely a home grown terrorist, someone who was unhappy with the healthcare bill or some similar thing. So without so much as a bit of information, Bloomberg is busy blaming the Tea Party and opponents of Obama and the Obamacrats who obviously would resort to domestic terrorism to make their point.

If Bloomberg cannot understand that American citizens can peacefully protest the high spending wasteful ways of the Obamacrats, then he ought not be mayor. If Bloomberg does not understand that there were more riots and fights at the one day protest regarding immigration last Sunday than there have been in the year plus history of the Tea party movement, then he ought not be mayor. Indeed, If Bloomberg, a man who is well aware of what is happening AND NOT HAPPENING it the country cannot recognize the Tea Party as a peaceful but impassioned movement, then he ought not be mayor. the mayor of New York city ought to be familiar with reality. Even in New York City, reality sometimes matters. It is sad to see how far from reality the left really is.
