Will we ever hear an apology?

After the bombing in Times Square by the New York Fizzle Bomber we heard a series of statements by the Obamacrats about how this was something other than an organized radical Islamic terrorist attack. Mayor Bloomberg speculated that it was a tea partier. Contessa Brewer of MSNBC said that she was hoping that it was notan attack by a Muslim since that would nnecessarily fuel the fires of bigotry in the USA. Janet Napolitano, secretary of DHS, said that it was a "one off" and that the bomber was acting alone. Later she said that the DHS was acting as if there was a possibility that the bombing might possibly be the work of a terrorist. (What a concession!) Yesterday I posted about the allegation that Napolitano told DHS to stand down after the attack.

Well today we get news that the FBI conducted raids across the Northeast to capture other people connected to the bombings. Those apprehended are all Pakistanis with ties to Faisal Shahzad, the fizzzle bomber. Indeed, the government now admits that this was an operation by the Pakistani Taliban, and offshot of Al Qaeda.

In testimony before congress today, Eric Holder the Attorney General refused to admit that Radical Islam was a motivation for the attack in Times Square. He was offered the chance to say that it was one of many motivating factors but refused to do so.

So the heads of Justice and Homeland Security refuse to admit that these are attacks by a radical Islamic terrorist group even as other possible members of the group are being rounded up by the FBI. How does this make the USA safe? Does Holder go to a murder scene with a dead body and deny that there was a murder?

I guess that the same administration that talks about the progress it has made in foreign relations with Iran could think that saying that there is no terrorism is good enough. After all, for Obama and the obamacrats it is more important to say the right things than to do them. These folks have to go!
