Word is out that Kathleen Sebelius is considering running for the senate from Kansas in November's elections. We want to take this occasion to endorse Sebelius as the Democrat senatorial candidate from Kansas. After all, who would want to miss these future stories:
1. After assuring Kansans that she is ready for election day, Sebelius fails to vote due to a "glitch" in the calendar on her smart phone.
2. When turnout among Democrats on election day falls 50% short of expectations across Kansas, Sebelius comes out to extol the success of her campaigns get out the vote effort.
3. Sebelius is surprised when the "waivers" that she issues to unregistered voters across Kansas are not honored at the polls. It seems that in Kansas, they actually obey the law.
4. The Sebelius campaign spends 700 million dollars on a major campaign data base which does not work on election day.
And, of course, my personal favorite:
5. Sebelius denounces president Obama for foisting the disgraceful program called Obamacare on America!
