A few days ago, I commented on the rumors that HHS secretary Sebelius would be seeking the Democrat nomination for the senate from Kansas this year. She has since denied the story and said she is not running. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that a poll was just released that shows the Republican running ahead of her by 17% (55 to 38%) No doubt that poll played a roll in the latest denials of interest in the seat by the Democrat.
