Hassan Rouhani is the president of Iran. He is also the man who said that he spent years as Iran's negotiator concerning its nuclear program to accomplish one mission: to delay any action by the West and to give Iran time to move ahead with that program. Rouhani used every trick and deception he could to achieve that goal. Simply put, Rouhani is someone who spent years lying to America, the EU and the entire Western world. Today, however, Rouhani is now a columnist for the Washington Post. It seems that the Post was annoyed that Vladimir Putin wrote a column for the New York Times, so the WaPo gave voice today to Rouhani's column.
It is truly amazing. Here is a man who is the head of the most virulent anti-American country in the Moslem world. Here is a man who has already told us that he spent years lying to us. Here is a man who has an agenda of trying to rescue his Syrian ally, Bashir al Assad. But the WaPo thinks it is a good idea to give him space to set forth more "ideas" for peace. No sane person would believe Rouhani, but WaPo not only gives him space to spout his "views", but also fails to point out anywhere that Rouhani is an accomplished liar.
The media is truly losing it. It presents interviews with Assad, a known war criminal responsible for the deaths of over 100,000 people. It lets Putin of Russia write nasty columns putting down the USA and our president. It gives the Iranian president the chance to spout lies in order to reduce the chance that his nuclear program will be stopped. And in all of this, the media does not tell the audience the true nature of these men. There is no real criticism of them or even concurrent reporting of their true mission and the horrors of their actions. On the other hand, when the Tea Party steps forward to promote smaller government, reductions in spending and debt and constitutional government, the media never lets any report go by without calling the Tea Partiers racists, homophobes, sexists and Neanderthals. So the Tea Party seeking smaller government gets the false and incendiary rebuttal while the war criminals, liars and adversaries of America get free space to spout with no response other than an applauding chorus. The mainstream media truly sucks.
