So now we have a terrorist attack in Nairobi, Kenya. It is still too early to know how many were killed in the attack at the mall. Early reports say that the terrorists were from Somalia and limited their attack to only those who were not Moslem.
What is wrong with the world? How is it possible that more innocent people are to be targeted based upon what can only be called a deranged religious view. There is simply no way that the "religion of peace" could call for the slaughter of those who hold different beliefs. That sounds more like the "religion of intolerance and war".
People can get used to nearly any situation. We should not get used to these terror attacks, however. Each one is a tragedy; each one is a crime; each one should result in retribution against those who carry out the attack. We cannot let the 21st century get swallowed up by the 7th century.
