Obama's Speech on Syria

I watched president Obama's speech on the subject of Syria this evening.  Like most of what passes for Obama's policy on Syria, it was filled with conflicts and logic gaps.

1.  Obama explained how horrible the chemical attack by the Assad forces was on August 22nd and why it required a response.  Obama did not explain though, why the first fifteen chemical attacks by the Assad forces did not need a response and only the sixteenth one went over the red line.  Indeed, Obama ignored all the prior chemical attacks by the Assad forces and acted as if the one on August 22nd was the first.  But we all know that it was not.

2.  Obama explained why a military response is required to the chemical attack.  Then, after justifying the need for a military attack, Obama said that he was putting the attack on hold.

3.  Obama explained the need of a Congressional vote to authorize the attack.  As Obama says, America is stronger when we stand together.  Of course, after making the case for approval by Congress, Obama announced that he wants the vote delayed.

4.  Obama explained that the dictators of the world (like Assad) hope that the nations will ignore and then forget the evil that the dictators do.  Then Obama recommended that America join with China, Russia, France and the UK to go to the United Nations even though the Russians have already today blocked action by the Security Council.  So Obama's plan is basically to talk but not to do anything.  It sure sounds like a way to ignore and then forget the chemical weapons attack.

The president's speech was a total bust.

Once again wasting time doing NOTHING.
We still sit with a DEBT ceiling issue, Stagnant Economy and OBAMA CARE issues.
Congress as well as OBAMA need to get their heads out o their ASSES.
Time to do something, action no more talking.
Moto should be MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!
