Hey, That's Cool

There is a recent study in the journal Nature Climate Change.  It is rather technical, but the upshot of the work is the conclusion that all those computer models on which global warming predictions are based are wrong.  Okay, to be fair, the study looked at 117 climate predictions made by the computer models in the 1990's.  Of these, three were close enough to be considered accurate and 114 were wrong, many by a whole lot.  There is a full discussion of the results here.

The truth seems to be leaking out these days about "climate change".  That truth is very simple:  1) we don't know for sure if there is a continuing warming trend since there has been no significant increase in atmospheric temperatures during the last 15 years; 2) we do not understand what impact, if any, increased carbon dioxide has on the temperature of the Earth; and 3) all those scientists who still talk about the "consensus" regarding greenhouse gases and global warming are either liars or charlatans (or both).

Next time you read about the actions by president Obama to end (or at least dramatically reduce) the use of American coal to power our electricity grid so as to reduce the production of carbon dioxide, remember that no one knows any longer whether there is any need to reduce carbon dioxide production.  When you pay higher utility bills because coal is being outlawed, remember that there is no scientific basis for trying to get rid of coal.  When you hear about the depression that is hitting much of West Virginia due to the slow death of the mining industry inflicted upon that state by Obama's Washington, think about why this is happening.  Just remember that our "leaders" are too cowed by the true believers of global warming to come forth with the actual science and prevent damage to the country which does nothing except satisfy the environmental hysterics.
