More numbers on Syria

Earlier today, I wrote about the count done by the Washington Post of the current state of the votes in the Senate and the House on the Syrian resolution.  Now thinkprogress.org has come out with its own count of just the House.  This one shows that Democrats who have voiced an opinion (86 in total) are split 32 in support of the president and 54 against.  The support level is even lower among Republicans.  To be fair, there are still about half of the members of the House who have not yet announced which way they were leaning on the vote, so the result could flip.

The key here is that Obama seems unable to win the support of his own party or even to make it a close battle.  It really just shows how totally inept Obama is when he tries to be a "leader".  He still thinks that all that is required to lead is to make a speech or two.
