It may seem surprising, but we now know that a big chunk of the Democrats in Congress are actually racists. If the Washington Post is to be believed, nearly 40% of all the Democrats in the House of Representatives have announced that they oppose president Obama's request to strike the Assad forces in Syria. Another 50% of the Democrats are undecided on the issue.
These are the same people who have told us for years that all opposition to Obama is basically racist. Without a doubt, this display of racism by the congressional Democrats is disgusting. Any moment now, I expect to hear Al Sharpton denouncing the Democrats on MSNBC followed by Chris Matthews decrying their conduct as motivated by pure and simple racism.
