Things have gotten worse for president Obama's position on the Syrian resolution. According to the Real Clear Defense website, of 237 House members who have stated a position on the resolution, 202 are either against the bill (93) or have said that they are likely to vote against the bill (109). Even among the presidents own party, the members who have stated a position are more than 2 to 1 against the Syrian resolution.
In the Senate, the chances for Obama seem brighter, but even so, if the currently undecided senators just split 50-50 on the resolution, it will fail to win a cloture vote.
It still astounds me that Obama could be this incompetent.
