This evening, I thought I would check in with MSNBC to see how they were covering the Syrian chemical weapons story. I tuned in to see Al Sharpton. Sharpton was going on at length about a picture of president Obama who was on the phone from the oval office and was discussing Syria with some member of Congress or Senator. Here is the photo:
Sharpton was angrily denouncing "racist right wingers" who were critical of Obama because he had his foot on the desk. Sharpton even had Dana Milbank on as a guest to discuss that there were black and white old photos of previous presidents who also had a foot on the desk.
I am not kidding. Assad is using chemical weapons in Syria. Congress is debating whether or not to go to war. Sharpton is still busy denouncing Republicans who said something about where Obama has his foot in a photograph.
The truth is that Sharpton is ridiculous. He should worry less about where Obama has his foot and more about where Sharpton has his own head.
