Last night, America saw the Commander in Chief Forum on NBC. First Hillary Clinton and then Donald Trump answered questions from Matt Lauer and some veterans on the aircraft carrier/museum in New York City. I thought Trump had a much better night than Hillary, and I wrote about that yesterday. The on line polls all favored Trump as the winner as well, but those polls are notoriously unreliable. Now, however, we have the actual reaction from the Clinton campaign. They too were unhappy with last night.
As I am writing this, Hillary Clinton is holding her first real press conference of 2016. It was an impromptu press conference arranged this morning. Without a doubt, the reason why Hillary chose to start holding press conferences again is that the campaign wants to change the subject from last night's forum. They saw it for what it really was: a Trump victory.
