Joe Biden was put in charge of relations with Ukraine by president Obama some years ago. As Biden himself tells the story, the vice president used that position to get rid of the Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating a company for which Biden's son was a director. There's video of Biden explaining to a group that he told the Ukrainian government that he would prevent the USA from giving the Ukrainians $1 billion in foreign aid unless the Ukrainians fired the states attorney (prosecutor) who was looking into his son's company. The prosecutor was fired and Ukraine got the cash.
The facts discussed in the first paragraph are not debatable. As I said, Biden is on video bragging about doing this. So now that Biden is running for president, Rudy Giuliani has asked Ukraine to look into Biden's company and its activities in that country. What was it that so spooked the Biden family that Joe used public money to buy safety for his son?
The funny thing is that the Biden team is absolutely apoplectic about Giuliani's request. The Democrats are screaming that this is the same thing as Trump working with the Russians to steal the 2016 election. Not exactly! Trump didn't work with the Russians in 2016; we know this because Mueller spent over two years looking for proof of collusion and found nothing at all. On the other hand, Biden is still bragging about how he got rid of the prosecutor who was looking into Biden's son. The issue is Biden's illegal conduct extorting the Ukrainians to stop investigating Biden's son by threatening to withhold foreign aid. Neither Trump not Giuliani is doing anything wrong. Biden already took care of that.
