I See It But I Don't Believe It

In the world of the media, there is no bigger apologist for president Obama than Eugene Robinson.  No matter what happens, if it is good, Obama gets credit and if it is bad, then Robinson blames Republicans.  I always expect this sort of position from Robinson, so his partisan rants usually don't surprise me.  Today, however, Robinson has outdone himself.  His column in the Amazon Post, excuse me...the Washington Post discusses the closure by the USA of some 22 embassies across the Middle East in response to a perceived threat from al Qaeda.  Robinson first congratulates Obama for killing bin Laden (he forgets about Seal Team 6 that had at least some roll in that action) and for using drones to take out all sorts of other al Qaeda operatives.  Robinson tells us that al Qaeda has been "decimated" which, not surprisingly, is the favorite word used by the Obama White House in its al Qaeda talking points.  But then Robinson gets to the nub of his argument.  Robinson explains that the current threat against American embassies across the Middle East is the fault of (drum roll please!)...........George W. Bush.  I am not kidding.  After five years in office, Obama and his policies played no part in this setback for the destruction of al Qaeda.  Robinson sees this as all the fault of Bush.

When I read this column, I actually checked to see if it was a parody or if someone had hacked the WaPo site to plant the column there, but the column is the real thing.  It is probably a good thing that the WaPo is failing and had to be sold.  With some luck, it will close and we can finally get Mr. Robinson without an audience.

Since only literate people read.
Plus, very few actually READ the newspapers.
I see the printed word on paper being totally obsolete in the next 10 years.
The problem is the really ignorant listen to the 20-30 second rants perpetrated on there brains by the likes of Liberal TV foolishness. Called NEWS
Ignorance is not solely a democratic issue, the GOP needs to MAKE REAL CONTACT .
Robinson pisses me off since he is a syndicated column. ACTUALLY SIN COLUMN.
