No, this is not Sesame Street. Twenty-nine is the number of Christian churches in Egypt that were either completely destroyed or rendered unusable as a result of attacks in the last twenty-four hours by the Moslem Brotherhood supporters of ousted former president Morsi. These are the supposed victims of an assault by the military who are portrayed in much of the media as "innocents" attacked by evil soldiers of the new regime. Of course, these "innocents" were firing at the police and soldiers with automatic weapons as they tried to clear the demonstrations being held by the Moslem Brotherhood. Clearly, the military was not tolerating continuing protests, but at the same time the Moslem Brotherhood did what it could to stir up the violence and to attack "non-believers" like the Christians.
