It is rare that I praise something in the Washington Post, but today's column by George Will is extraordinarily good. Will outlines the unconstitutional, illegal and intolerable actions taken by president Obama who has claimed the power (which he clearly does not have) to enforce only the parts of laws that he likes and to waive portions of laws that are politically inconvenient. It is a subject of which I have written in the past. The difference with Will's column, of course, is that we now have the subject breaking into the mainstream media with an audience encompassing essentially all of official Washington. Hopefully, the rest of the media will feel compelled to deal with the issue now. Only a strong push back by Congress (both Republicans and Democrats) will prevent and force the roll back of this major and illegal usurpation of power by the president.
