LOD

John Kerry gets today's LOD award.  LOD, for those of you who do not know, stands for the Lie Of the Day.  Here is what Kerry said on ABC this morning:

"Israel and the United States absolutely share the same goal here.  There is no daylight between us with respect to what we want to achieve, at this point. We both want to make it certain Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. And Iran cannot be in a place where they can break out and suddenly get that nuclear weapon."

Really?  Kerry knows this is a false statement.  By six months from now when the deal ends (and is no doubt extended), Iran will be 4-6 weeks away from having multiple nuclear bombs. Are we to believe that Kerry does not consider that "a place where [Iran] can break out and suddenly get ... nuclear weapons"?  Even an ignoramus like Kerry knows better than that.

Without a doubt, Kerry will be making the rounds of the TV shows for the next few days to announce the great "breakthrough" with Iran.  My suggestion is that he just tell the Israelis that "if you like your country, you can keep your country."  At least that way, the rest of the world will also understand that Kerry is lying.
