Just six weeks ago, I began a post on this site with these words:
News reports say that House Republicans want to delay the Obamacare individual mandate by a year as part of the funding of the government. The Democrats say that there can be no such delay. President Obama calls the request for the delay "extortion"; Nancy Pelosi calls it the equivalent of "arson" and Harry Reid says the GOP is holding America "hostage" with this delay request.
Tonight, we have news that more than ten senate Democrats and many more House Democrats are calling for the delay of the individual mandate until at least six months after the Obamacare website is working properly. There is no formal bill yet introduced by these Democrat legislators, but it will be forthcoming shortly.
Does this make these Democrats extortionists, arsonists or hostage takers?
