Does Gross Incompetence Beat Demographics?

For the last five years, I have been reading article after article in which left-leaning political analysts have pointed out that Democrats will inevitably become the majority party for the foreseeable future due to demographic shifts in the American population.  These pundits tell us again and again that we are moving to a society with more minorities who will all vote strongly Democrat.

Given the events of the last month, I am wondering if we are likely to see a future in which gross incompetence beats out demography as the cause of political realignment.  Think about it.  How many people are going to want to give power to a Democrat party that couldn't even manage to get a website built with seven hundred million dollars in three years?  How many people are going to forgive a party that let its leader lie to America about whether or not folks could keep their health insurance?  How many people want to give power to a group that is standing by doing nothing as millions of people with insurance are forced to give up that coverage due to the rules put in place by the Democrats so that they are left with no insurance once 2014 begins?  How many folks will want to elect another Democrat administration when the current one just tells more and more lies to try to cover up the older lies told about Obamacare?

I realize I have been focused on Obamacare in what I said, but you can add in Syria, Iran, the economy, the lack of jobs, the destruction of the coal industry, and all those other completely incompetent moves by Obama and the Democrats that have been building up.

Just today, polls on next year's congressional elections came out that show a major move in the last three weeks away from the Democrats and towards the Republicans among all demographic groups.  It seems that the gross incompetence of the Democrats is going to win.
