I am really tired of hearing president Obama and his people talk about those "substandard" policies that have been cancelled due to Obamacare. What they are saying is totally bogus. Let me give you two examples: Both of my children graduated last May, one from college and the other from a graduate school. The universities that they attended (one public and one private) each had medical plans that graduates could obtain for the following year. These plans were great, and they were inexpensive. They covered 90% of costs, had no deductibles, had low prescription costs and had annual maximum payouts of $2500 and $4000. They had no restrictions for pre-existing conditions. They covered all of the services required by Obamacare. Best of all, they cost in the range of $150 per month.
These plans at both schools were cancelled. At one university, it was possible to get coverage for the period from August until December of this year. At the other school, these plans for new graduates were cancelled beginning last August. The cancellations were due to Obamacare requirements.
These were wonderful policies. These were inexpensive policies that recent graduates were able to afford. These were certainly NOT substandard. Nevertheless, they were destroyed by Obamacare.
Obama's claim that only substandard policies are being cancelled is just another lie from America's Liar In Chief.
