Immunity for Bryan Pagliano?

According to the Washington Times, Hillary Clinton's aide who claimed the protection of the Fifth Amendment against self incrimination to avoid testifying is now being offered immunity by Senate investigators.  It was a move that seemed inevitable.  Sadly, however, immunity is being offered by a Senate committee rather than the House Benghazi committee.  I would prefer to see the investigation of Pagliano's information done under the leadership of representative Gowdy of the House committee who is one of the ablest legal minds in either the House or the Senate.

For those who are unaware of how immunity works, once the Senate grants Pagliano immunity, he will be forced to testify.  The Fifth Amendment protection will be stripped away from him since he will not have any chance of being prosecuted for what he says.  In other words, this is Hillary's worst nightmare.  The only way Pagliano could be in trouble is if he lies under oath.  That means that he is likely to tell all to the investigators.

Remember all those claims of "no smoking gun" from the Clinton team?  Pagliano may supply that link that puts Hillary right in the middle of the email mess in a way from which she cannot escape.

Time will tell.  And Pagliano will have to tell too.
