It's 9-11 ---- Is the USA ready?

Fourteen years ago on September 11, 2001, al Qaeda attacked the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and would also have hit either the Capitol or the White House had it not been for some extremely brave Americans who foiled that part of the plot.  Over three thousand victims died.  The world changed.

Three years ago, on September 11, 2012, American embassies around the world were attacked by mobs and in Benghazi, the consulate was hit by terrorists who killed the ambassador to Libya and three others.  Even though it was the anniversary of 9-11, the Obama State Department under Hillary Clinton had actually reduced security in Benghazi and elsewhere at that time.

It is now the anniversary of 9-11 once again.  Indeed, as I write this, September 11th has arrived in Iran, Iraq and elsewhere in the Middle East.  Is the Obama administration ready to face a terrorist challenge today?

I don't know if the terrorists will use the anniversary again as the date for launching a major attack on the USA.  I do know, however, that America needs to be ready to deal with an attack if it comes.  There has been nothing said in the media about any precautions that have been taken for the anniversary.  There have been no warnings to the public to be vigilant.  Indeed, nothing has been said on the subject at all.  I just did a search on the internet for "September 11 anniversary terrorist attack warnings" and found nothing except reports about possible attacks on police by the Black Lives Matter group.  The idea that there is total silence about a potential ISIS or al Qaeda attack on American targets on this anniversary is extremely upsetting.  Of course, I don't want to see an attack.  Nevertheless, the lack of preparedness, particularly after other terror attacks on this anniversary, is disturbing.  President Obama may live in a delusional world where he is "making peace" with Iran and "defeating" ISIS, but there are too many people who live in the real world who understand that the actual facts are something quite different.

I hope and pray that nothing happens on 9-11.  If nothing happens, we will have dodged a bullet.  On the other hand, if there is a terror attack against Americans on this anniversary, then Obama better have a good explanation for why he failed to prepare a defense.  If people die, it won't be enough for Obama to do his usual and demand an investigation into who is at fault.  The answer to that question will be clear:  it will be Obama's fault.
