More From Vox: Here, More Is Less

There's another of those articles on Vox which spew nonsense without stop.  Today's version is by high mogul of Vox, Ezra Klein.  In it, he explains why the rise of Bernie Sanders is much more important and impressive than the rise of Donald Trump.

The funniest thing about Klein's article is that he actually looks at the shift in the Democrat race as the "rise" of Sanders rather than the "collapse" of Hillary Clinton.  Only someone from a place like Vox could think that.  In Vox-land (the bubble inhabited by the Voxers), Hillary's problems with her email, mishandling classified information, Clinton Foundation, etc. are just minor annoyances that a right-wing press is pushing but which have no public traction.  It's a complete delusion.  Hillary's fall is following a classical pattern that can be seen in the polling data.  First, Hillary got in trouble on specific points.  For her, it began with the effect of the scandals on the public perception of her honesty.  Hillary went negative on being rated honest and trustworthy many months ago.  As more and more came out to demonstrate her dishonesty, Hillary sank as a person "who cares about the needs of people like" the voters.  Then Hillary's favorability numbers sank.  Now, finally, Hillary's numbers in the horse race are falling.  That is the traditional formula for the collapse of a campaign.  It is inconceivable that the dynamic in action at the Hillary campaign could be ignored when viewing Sanders' success.

Now I don't want to ignore the success that Bernie has been having.  He gets credit for moving forward as the candidate of the far left portion of the Democrat base.  Since he has no valid competition in that field, he is rolling up total support from that group.  The rest of Bernie's support, however, is more a function of Hillary's collapse than anything else.
