The Drudge Report is making much of the fact that Hillary Clinton has hypothyroidism. In other words, Hillary's thyroid does not function as well as it is supposed to. Matt Drudge is focused on Hillary's coughing spell at the end of yesterday's hearing on Benghazi.
It's actually pretty odd that this is becoming an issue. After all, the problem is not an underperforming thyroid. The problem is whether or not her thyroid is doing so poorly that it might affect her general health and her ability to handle stressful situations well.
It's possible that Drudge has found something important here. After all, unlike countless presidential candidates in the past, Hillary has not released her medical records but instead has put forward a letter from her doctor attesting to her ability to handle the office of president. Is there something in the medical records that would indicate that there is a real problem with Hillary's health? We don't know.
