Henry Kissinger wrote a column in the Wall Street Journal about the objectives for American policy in the Middle East. It is a clear and intelligent point of view that comes from a man who understands international issues like few others. Kissinger provides something that it seems no one in the Obama White House (including president Obama himself) actually has: a coherent view of what is at stake in the Middle East.
