53.4%

Here's some news that is worth noting:  53.4% of people polled in China believe that there will be a war with Japan in the future.  Only about a third of those who see a war expect it to happen in the next year or two, but the idea that the majority of the Chinese think war is coming is a chilling thought.  Remember, Japan has a tiny military compared to China.  Since World War II, the Japanese have been mostly demilitarized.  Only lately, as China has continued a military build up, have the Japanese taken tentative steps towards have a more robust defense.

For what it is worth, a slightly higher number of Chinese polled consider the USA a threat to China's security than see Japan in that light, but the emergence of Japan as a perceived threat is still startling.

Before anyone sends me email reminding me of the enmity between China and Japan that stems from World War II, let me ask that any such message include an explanation of how China/Japan is different from UK/Germany or France/Germany.
