There is a new poll released today by CNN for the senate contest in New Hampshire. It shows senator Shaheen, the Democrat, tied with Republican candidate Scott Brown. This is an extraordinary result. Brown was behind by double digits not that long ago, and now he is running even. This poll may be an outlier, and Shaheen may still have a small lead. All of the polls in NH, however, have shown the race to now be close. If Brown wins this race, it just about clinches that the Republicans will take control of the senate. It will also get rid of Shaheen who has proven herself to be a rather lackluster senator.
