Apple is pulling the new operating system for its iphones. The latest update is causing widespread disruptions for those who have downloaded it. At the moment, no one knows why; they just know that Apple pulled the program in order to fix it.
It is not often that Apple puts out a product worthy of Healthcare.gov. Today, however, it seems that Apple actually released a new operating system (or more precisely an updated operating system) without fully testing it first. Either that, or someone has learned how to crash the system and has unleashed a nasty virus on the iphone users of the world.
One thing is certain: Steve Jobs would never have let this happen. The first time he left Apple, the company drifted until he returned. Now that he is gone, we will have to see if Apple can continue its dominance without him. At the moment, it is not looking good.
