Remember the Motto

President Obama was elected using the slogans "Yes we can" and "Hope and change".  Then he spent the better part of six years making sure that neither slogan was even close to accurate.  "Yes we can" became "well, maybe" and "hope and change" became "no hope, no change".  Because of the inability to use these old slogans, the Obama team has been looking for something new to use.  they finally settled on a quote from Charles Dickens:

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair…
