A Moron is a Moron is a Moron

How shall I start?  Maybe this:  "A Moron by any other name would be as dumb."

I am speaking, of course, about the United States Secretary of State John Kerry.  I would call him a walking black hole from which nothing good ever emanates, but, knowing Kerry and his friends, they would call me racist.  I can remember during the 2004 campaign when it was disclosed that Kerry had a D average during his first year at Yale.  After hearing Kerry in action, it did not surprise me much.  The only surprise was that the Democrats actually nominated a moron for president.

Given Kerry's lack of intelligence, maybe he ought to get a pass for some of the things he has been saying, but he is, nevertheless, the Secretary of State, so he has to be accountable for his public utterances.

The worst things that Kerry has been saying in the last few days are about Israel and the Iran nuclear deal.  Kerry told the Council on Foreign Relations that if Congress votes down the Iran agreement, Israel will get the blame.  The same day Kerry spoke to a group of Jewish leaders and told them that Israel's prime minister Netanyahu only criticized the deal but offered no alternatives.

These are not just moronic statements.  They are attacks on our close ally which have been made for no reason.  Let's start with Israel getting the blame if Congress votes down the agreement.  Think about that.  What Kerry is actually saying is that Israel can control the United States Congress.  Really?  That's insane.  There is no reason why Israel would get blamed if Congress rejects the Iran deal.  In fact, it would only be Kerry's moronic statement that would lead any rational observer to that conclusion.  So why say it?

And how about the supposed lack of an alternative from Netanyahu?  This is just more lies from the Obama administration.  How many times have we been told that the choice is just between war and this agreement?  But that just ain't so.  We could have had stiffer sanctions.  We could have had better negotiations.  We could have done both.  Imagine how Iran would react if the ayatollah was told that he could agree to a reasonable deal or his country would suffer increased sanctions and possible destruction.  Might that not have moved Iran to a more reasonable position?  But it is even worse.  Remember, Kerry wouldn't tell us what was in the agreement.  He also wouldn't tell the Israelis the details of the agreement as it was being negotiated.  Kerry says that Israeli prime minister offered no alternative, but to what.  Could you offer an alternative to something that I plan to do if I did not tell you what that something is?

So I say again, a moron is a moron is a moron.  It's just Kerry being Kerry.
