The Rumor of the Day

So far today, the computer systems for United Airlines, the New York Stock Exchange and the Wall Street Journal have all crashed.  There were a few hours this morning with no flights by UAL, trading at the NYSE is still halted after two hours down, and the Journal is just now coming back on line.  The authorities are telling us that it is just internal problems and not a cyber attack.

There is no evidence to contradict the claim that this is not a cyber attack.  Of course, we should all remember how Obama and Hillary both told us that the terror attack in Benghazi was the result of some youtube video that no one in Libya even saw.

The rumor of the moment is that today's events are a coordinated show of force by the Chinese.  Supposedly, this is in retaliation for the collapse of the Shanghai stock market which the Chinese think is being coordinated by the CIA in response to that massive hack of all the personal data of federal employees which the Chinese pulled off earlier this year.

All of this sounds like a conspiracy theory.  Sadly, however, the credibility of the Obama regime is so low that we are all left wondering who to believe.  I hope that the administration is telling the truth for once.
