Today's Update In the World of Gun Control

The FBI admitted today that it was a failure of the FBI run system that allowed the Charleston mass murderer to buy a gun.  The director of the FBI said that the FBI system should have flagged Dylan Roof as someone who could not legally purchase a weapon.

So what does that tell you?

1.  We already have enough laws on the books to have stopped the murderer from getting a gun, but the law wasn't enforced properly by the Obama administration.

2.  All that talk after the shooting about the need for stronger gun laws was just that:  talk and only talk.  There is no need for new legislation; there is, instead, the need for the federal government actually to enforce the laws on the books.

3.  The silence about this admission from the FBI is amazing.  The same media outlets that went all out for gun control after the shooting are totally silent now. After all, they can't admit that the Democrat controlled administration is at fault for anything.
