Pay No Attention to the Ice Behind The Curtain

The BBC is reporting a study that shows that ice in the Arctic grew rapidly in 2013 and that the growth continued right through 2014.  In fact, the growth of the ice is so extensive that it more than made up for any loss of ice during the previous three years.

This may sound like something of little newsworthiness, but that would be wrong.  The reason given by the BBC for the ice growth is extra low temperatures in the Summer of 2013.  That's right, during the Summer which is prime global warming time, temperatures were below normal during a two year period.  That is important because the global warming hysterics told us a decade ago that by now there would be no ice in the arctic and the sea level would be much much higher as a result.  It is also important because the same global warming crowd that told us that 2014 was the warmest year on record, but the study says that temperatures were BELOW normal, not at all time records.

The reality is that Global Warming has become a conclusion without any factual basis.  In may ways, it is like the conclusion that the Earth is flat and that sailors would fall off the edge if they went too far.  There are many who believe in the Climate Change dogma, but the scientific evidence already shows the basic theory is wrong.  All those models that predicted a steamy planet Earth cannot explain how the carbon dioxide levels keep going up but the temperatures in the atmosphere do not.

It is interesting that the BBC feels compelled to end its report on the increased sea ice in the Arctic with a paragraph about how this says nothing about global warming theory.  The BBC would not dare fight with the orthodox position.  Even the BBC cannot twist this news into something that supports global warming theory; they just claim that it is a one off.  No amount of orthodox reporting can change the facts, however.
