Is Trump Going For VP on Hillary's Ticket?

There is a rumor making the rounds that Donald Trump is actually in the race for president so that he can be picked as the vice-presidential candidate.  This may sound weird, but wait, it gets even stranger.  Trump supposedly wants to be the VP candidate on Hillary Clinton's Democrat ticket.  The plan is that Hillary will announce prior to the Democrat convention that the nation needs to be reunited and that she believes that the best way to do that is to put a "Republican" on the ticket with her.  Accordingly, she will tell the nation that she is choosing Trump, a man who always says what he thinks.  The people pushing this rumor say that this move will electrify the nation.  It will also help solve Hillary's problem with dishonesty because Trump is perceived as painfully honest.  Further, it will make people forget about all of Hillary and Bill Clinton's never ending efforts at rake in cash; the Donald has so much money that Hillary will look like a piker next to him.  It will let Hillary castigate her opponent as a narrow partisan who could not represent the entire nation.

The rumor itself seems ludicrous.  But then one if one stops and thinks about it for a moment, one finds that Trump is out there taking pot shots at all the Republican candidates.  These are not policy disagreements, but rather they are mostly personal attacks.  Maybe he really is in cahoots with Hillary.
