Doing The Clinton Can Can

Bill Clinton used to dance his way out of trouble when he was president.  He basically said whatever was necessary to avoid responsibility for the things he did.  Hillary Clinton is now trying to use those sorts of dance moves in avoiding damage from the ongoing scandals regarding her secret and private email system and what certainly appears to be the selling of influence using the Clinton Foundation and speaking fees.  Hillary, though, does not seem able to master the dance steps.  Just look at the latest regarding he email.

Last Spring when the story of her private and secret email system first broke, Hillary indignantly told us all at the UN that she never sent classified information on her email system and that she was turning all emails other than personal ones over to the State Department.

When it was discovered that there were a large number of emails that were clearly not personal that had not been turned over, Hillary tried silence.  The emails obtained from Sidney Blumenthal were all about Libya and American policy there.  Hillary just said nothing while her troops told the media that it was just Republicans out to get her.

Then the Inspector General of the State Department and the Inspector General of the Intelligence Agencies said Hillary had sent classified information on her email and sought an investigation by the Justice Department.

Hillary's response was to say again that she never sent classified information on her email system.

When the Inspectors General said that in a sample of forty emails chosen at random, ten percent had classified information in them, Hillary changed her statement.  She did a little dance step in the Clinton Can Can.  Hillary said that she never sent any information on her system that was classified when she sent it.  You get that, right?  Clinton was saying that the stuff might have become classified later, but it wasn't when she sent it.  I guess Hillary expected that the media would run with the story, and she was right.  Much of the media did use that line.

The problem for Hillary, however, is that the Inspector General of the Intelligence Agencies did not join in as Hillary's dance partner.  The IG released a statement in which she made clear that the classified information put into these emails by Hillary was classified at the time Hillary first sent the emails and remains classified today.

That called for yet another dance move by Hillary.  Today, Hillary is saying that she never "knowingly" sent classified information in her email.  That's right, this is Hillary's third try for an explanation.

Consider this latest claim in the Clinton Can Can.  A woman who wants to be the leader of the nation and who was the head of the State Department at the time, is now claiming that she could not recognize secret and sensitive information when she sent her emails.  Is she kidding?  If this is true, the Hillary is using the excuse that she is just to obtuse to recognize national secrets.  If this is not true (which is more likely), then this is just another lie from Hillary that anyone who pays attention can see for what it is.

After watching Hillary's latest email explanation, I don't think she has much of a future.  Not only won't she be president, but I think we can also rule out any try to win Dancing with the Stars.
