There's an interesting Quinipiac poll out today. Hillary Clinton is losing in trial heats to Walker, Rubio and Bush in Iowa, Colorado and Virginia. Hillary also does no better in these polls than Biden or Sanders. The trial heats are interesting, but much more important is the fact that in all three states Hillary is view as dishonest and untrustworthy by a large margin and she is also viewed as someone who does NOT care about people like those being polled. None of the other candidates came in with numbers as bad as hers on honesty and caring aside from the buffoon of the GOP race, namely Trump.
These poll results in three important swing states make clear just how badly Hillary has been hurt by her emails, foundation, and refusal to speak to the media. Mrs. Clinton is no longer viewed as trustworthy, so it will be hard for her to say something that will convince voters of the contrary. She is also viewed as disdainful of the ordinary Americans, so that makes it even worse. Most likely, her numbers will continue to sag; Summer is a hard time to get anyone to pay attention, so the perception of the dishonest and uncaring Hillary will just continue to spread. By the time anyone really pays attention, it may well be too late for Hillary to recover.
