The FBI is investigating Hillary Clinton's use of a private email system on which she improperly and perhaps illegally put classified information. This is too big a story for even the mainstream media to ignore, but it is killing them to have to report it. Here are two examples:
1. Yahoo News which is more biased than MSNBC (if that is possible) won't say that there really is an investigation. Instead, they will only say that the Washington Post is reporting that story. When Chris Christie was investigated because some of the people who worked for him closed a few lanes on the George Washington Bridge, there were daily, even hourly, stories about Christie was responsible. I've yet to see any stories on Yahoo News about how Christie has been cleared by multiple investigations and that all those earlier stories by Yahoo News were wrong.
2. CBS News couldn't bring itself to use FBI and Clinton in the same sentence. Instead "federal agents" are investigating the server. If one listened to CBS, one would think that the FBI was only looking at how Clinton's lawyer, Donald Kendall, is securing information in his office.
These attempts to limit the damage from the story will not work. In the next day or so, most of America will hear that Hillary (who they already think is dishonest) is being investigated by the FBI which is under the control of Obama, not the Republicans. It will confirm their already strong opinions of Hillary, and it may well put any chance for her to recover their trust permanently out of reach. As the saying goes, "the truth will out."
