Gene Lyons is a political pundit who operates as one of the principal apologists for the Clintons. As a result, I always expect skewed commentary from Lyons in which he repeats the latest talking points from the Clinton campaign. Nevertheless, I have to admit that I was surprised to see Lyons latest lament about Hillary. He actually claims that poor Hillary can never catch a break from the media.
Let's see, Hillary lied about Benghazi in a major way. The media ignored it. Then there's the fact that the Clinton Foundation was used as a slush fund for Hillary's campaign workers for many years. Not much coverage there either. Let's not forget that Hillary set up her own private email system in direct violation of federal law and regulations. The media mentioned it, but promptly dropped the story. Now we're at the point where we have proof that indicates that Hillary improperly (and illegally) handled and stored classified information. The media is talking about that, but the mainstream media is still downplaying it.
So what does Lyons say in the face of all this assistance from the mainstream media for Hillary. Simple, he claims that poor Hillary cannot get a break from the media.
It's a fantasy wrapped in a delusion inside a dream.
