The Media Is Still Covering For Hillary

Think about what happened in the last day.

1.  The Inspector General told Congress that some of the few of Hillary Clinton's email that had been reviewed were Classified and Top Secret.  That means that these email were not just secret but extremely secret and sensitive information.  According to the experts, it also means that at the time Hillary sent the email, the information was already classified and Top Secret and Hillary would have known that.  For what it is worth, the Washington Post says that the Top Secret info included items obtained from satellite images.

2.  Since there is Top Secret information on Hillary's server and on the computer drives held by Hillary's lawyer in unsecured locations, the FBI stepped in and demanded that Hillary and her lawyer turn the server and the drives over to them.  The point was clear.  If the Clinton group had said no to the demand, the FBI would have gotten a warrant and conducted a raid to grab the items.

3.  In order to avoid the spectacle of having her home raided for Top Secret information illegally stored there, Hillary "agreed" to the FBI taking both the server and the computer drives.

So how did the media report this?  CBS said that Hillary had "changed her mind" and decided to turn over the server to the FBI.  Yeah, right, it was Hillary's decision.  CNN reported that Hillary "decided" to turn over the server and then went on to analyze the political implications of the move.  Much of the other coverage was similar.

Remember this:  general David Petreus was indicted for keeping classified materials (which by the way were not Top Secret) in a desk in his home.  He lost his career and his reputation for that infraction.  His holding of the classified materials at home was temporary.  Hillary, on the other hand, set up an entire system that enabled her to keep total control over her own email contrary to federal law and regulations.  She then used that improper and unsecured system to send classified material across the internet.  She intentionally kept copies of the information at home.  When confronted about what she had done, she blatantly lied and claimed that her system contained no classified information at any time (and, by implication, no Top Secret information.)  So Petreus gets convicted and Hillary gets cover from the media.  It's truly outrageous.
