The New Obama Border Plan

As part of the new expanding "Obama Doctrine" for international relations, the president announced from his vacation on Martha's Vineyard that he was implementing a new strategy for the border between Mexico and the USA.  Commencing on September 1, 2015, the border crossing checkpoints will no longer be staffed by the Border Patrol.  Staffing of the border will now be handled by the various Mexican drug cartels which will have principal responsibility for keeping drugs out of the USA.

Okay, as idiotic as my first paragraph sounds, it is the rough equivalent of what we actually learned today about the agreement with Iran on its nuclear weapons program.  Inspections of certain military sites which have long been believed to be part of the weapons program will be handled exclusively by the Iranians themselves.  That's right; the Iranians will inspect to tell us whether they secretly used certain bases for nuclear weapons development in the past.

One has to wonder what will come next.  Will Obama propose that students will grade their own exams?
