A few days ago, I wrote about a report in The Hill concerning a Muslim woman who claimed that she was detained by customs coming into the country even though she was not from one of the seven countries covered by President Trump's Executive Order. The woman claimed she had to spend two hours dealing with customs inspectors before she was allowed to pass into the country. My view was that the entire premise of the story was stupid. Now, we have independent information that has come out which you need to know to better understand the story published by The Hill.
It has now been established that the Muslim woman whose complaint was published by The Hill actually entered the USA in 2016 while president Obama was still in office. The Trump Executive Order could not have affected how customs treated her because it did not yet exist and President Trump was not yet even in office.
The Hill was not only publishing Fake News. It was publishing really stupid Fake News that ought to embarrass everyone connected to that publication.
